This guest-led, immersive experience transports you to the 1920s French countryside — where champagne flows, jazz crackles on the phonograph, and beneath the laughter… someone is plotting murder.
What to Expect
A Character-Driven Experience
Before arrival, you’ll receive a richly imagined 1920s persona — an heiress, a jazz singer, a retired detective, perhaps even the château’s mysterious mistress. You’ll arrive in costume, ready to step into a world of intrigue and vintage charm.
A Mystery Unfolds in Real Time
On Friday night, two secret roles are drawn: the Murderer and the Detective. What happens next is entirely up to you. Clues will appear. Guests will whisper. Some may vanish altogether…
A Candlelit Séance & a Hidden Tunnel
Our in-house tarot reader will summon the spirits during Saturday’s séance — and the château’s real-life underground tunnel may offer a clue… or a trap.
Decadent Dining by Chef James Ashcroft (AKA Chef James Gordon)
Enjoy four immersive meals prepared by our towering English chef — a master of both literature and duck à l’orange. Menus are inspired by prohibition-era opulence, with wine pairings and vintage cocktails served fireside.
Twists, Revelations, and a Champagne Brunch Finale
On Sunday, accusations are made, secrets are revealed, and awards are given for everything from Best Sleuth to Most Dramatic Death.
